Getting Here
From Warsaw — 300 km. S17 south-east towards Lublin, then route 17 to Zamość. Three and a half to four hours, most of it dual carriageway.
From Lublin — 90 km. Route 17 to Piaski, then route 74 south-east. One to one and a half hours.
From Kraków — 300 km. A4 east to Rzeszów, then route 19 north and route 74 across to Zamość. Four to four and a half hours.
Airports. Lublin (LUZ) is about 85 km away — roughly an hour by road, with connections to Warsaw, London and other European cities. Rzeszów-Jasionka (RZE) is about 120 km. We can arrange a private transfer from either; send us your flight details.
Parking. Free, in our own yard behind the building, monitored by CCTV. There is always space, so nothing to reserve. The nearest EV charger is 200 m away.

We live here in Zamość and look after both apartments ourselves. We speak English and Polish, and we answer WhatsApp within a few hours — usually a lot sooner.
Tell us roughly when you expect to arrive and we will fit the handover around it. Ask us where to eat, too: we will point you at the places we go to ourselves rather than the ones with the biggest menus on the square.

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is between 16:00 and 21:00, check-out by 11:00. Those are the default hours, not a rule — tell us your arrival time in advance and we will usually work around it.
Is parking available?
Yes — parking in our yard is free, monitored by CCTV, and there is always space for guests. Nothing to book. The nearest EV charger is 200 m away.
Are pets allowed?
No. We do not take pets in either apartment.
Do you offer airport transfers?
We can arrange a private transfer from Lublin airport (LUZ, about 85 km) or Rzeszów-Jasionka (RZE, about 120 km). Send us your flight number and arrival time and we will organise a driver.
What is included in the apartment?
Bed linen, towels and toiletries. A kitchen with dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge and coffee-making things. A washing machine, air conditioning, fibre WiFi and a smart TV with streaming. You will also find our own notes on where to eat and what to see.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival. The exact terms for your dates are shown before you confirm the booking.
How far is the Old Town?
Rynek Wielki is about 850 m from our door — 10 to 15 minutes on foot. The synagogue is 650 m, the Town Hall 800 m, Bastion VII 1.2 km. Once you have parked the car you will not need it again.

Is Zamość worth visiting?
Zamość was built from scratch in 1580 to an Italian architect’s plan for an “ideal city”, and it has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1992. The Renaissance layout survived intact — a square of exactly 100 by 100 metres, arcaded merchant houses, the fortifications. Two days is enough to see it properly, and it is far quieter than Kraków.
Do the apartments have a washing machine?
Yes, both apartments have one.
Can I arrange early check-in or late check-out?
Often, yes — it depends on whether anyone is arriving or leaving on the same day. Ask a day or two ahead and we will confirm it.
What is the nearest airport to Zamość?
Lublin airport (LUZ), about 85 km away, roughly an hour by road, with connections to Warsaw, London and other European cities. Rzeszów-Jasionka (RZE) is about 120 km. Warsaw is 300 km, three and a half to four hours on the S17.
